hi,
I first tried to create games in the 90’s with my very first computer. I actually used PowerPoint to create my first prototype. I was a still game; one would see a scenario with some texts and images giving context to the scene and the player would have to press buttons on the screen to interact with the game. Different buttons would take you to different slides (“levels”) of the game. I didn’t finish this game, but it definitely awoke the developer flame in me! I based this game on another game that I used to play with my sister and with my dad; it was a spy game with different hints for different crimes the the player(s) had to find the criminals for.
I didn’t do anything with games till around 2009/2010 when I discovered Game Maker!!! So I created another game but this one was a based on Pac-Man; the player was a little character that had to go around deferent scenarios doing some specific tasks like eating an ice cream in order to get smaller, so that he or she could go through a passage that was smaller than the original character.
I recently (2020/2021) decided to create a game that would teach people about the Bible, so I restarted to look into Game Maker to relearn how it all works again. I’m still in the learning phase, but while I was doing that Campus Party Game Jam appeared, so now I’m working on developing a game for this Jam!!! I’ll probably base it on the very first game I built since I only have one day and about two hours left to come up with at least the first level! So let’s do this!!!! Can’t wait to see what we’ll be able to come up with!!!:DDD OoooOOOOOooo!!!! Hahaha (that’s the sound that “capuseiros” (people that attend the Campus Parties) apparently make😅😅😅
Nice to introduce myself to you!:)
Thiago Santos Airboy;) (the airboy comes from a game I used to play;)
